Hey guys, hope you’re well!
Been a while since I last wrote here and a big change has happened since my last blog. If you follow the band on any social media you know that Giuliano left LOST GRAVITY.
Early in April this year we played our last gig together at Helgi’s in London. It was a great night and a bit emotional I must say.
The following months I was looking for new members to join LOST GRAVITY until in July I replied an ad of a band looking for a front man. Unfortunately the band didn’t want to join forces, however their bassist was interested and he had a drummer friend to bring along. So at the end of July we had our first jam together and everything just felt right. Steve (bass) and Ricky (drums) are the new members of LOST GRAVITY and I am very happy that we are now a power trio!
Playing as a duo for such a long time was cool but I must admit that I always felt a bit lonely on stage with Giuliano hiding behind the drum kit.
Earlier this month on the 5th of October the new line up of LOST GRAVITY debut on stage playing an awesome show at Temple of Art & Music (TAM) in London. That was a very special gig not only coz it was the first show with new line up, but also because we played our debut album on its entirety as we were celebrating its 10th anniversary!! “Time flies when you’re having fun” they say, and they’re right! By the way, if you follow this blog apologies for never updating it with the 2014 events…lol That was a mad year with very little time to report what was going on.
So as I write this we have got a few gigs lined up.
We are playing at The World’s End in Camden on the 25th of October. This is gonna be a different show for us as we’ll be playing 3 sets of 30 minutes. We’re looking forward to it!
We also have a gig coming up on the 27th of October. We will be rocking our local pub The Good Mixer in Camden and we can’t wait to be back! And on Halloween, 31st of October we will be playing again at Temple of Art & Music (TAM) in south London. This time it will be a headline show, rocking a 90 minutes set.
If you are reading this in October 2024 we hope to see you at one of those gigs. If you are reading this later, please check out our website for the most updated gig list.
Thanks for your continued support and we will see you at one of our gigs soon!
Rock’n’roll! 🤘
